Families are at the center of all that we do. We partner with them, so that family experiences are reflected in our work. Committed to supporting them as they navigate the genetics healthcare delivery system, we ensure that families are getting actionable, digestible information to feel empowered in their healthcare decisions.
The committee consists of one family representative from each of the seven Regional Genetic Networks.
The Family Center Workgroup on Inclusion (FCWI) asks the hard questions and engages in the difficult conversations to identify inequities and barriers to inclusion so that we can address them and achieve a more inclusive and vibrant community. The FCWI’s develops products, resources, and trainings to help the Family Center ensure that families are central to U.S. genetic health care delivery systems.
