We collaborate with and support other organizations, so that families are supported throughout their healthcare experience. This collaborative work is done through authentic partnerships that leverage strengths and amplify resources. 


The Family Center is supported by the Health Resources and Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under the Cooperative Agreement #UH8MC30771 as part of an award totaling $400,000 with 0 percent financed with nongovernmental sources.

SPAN Parent Advocacy Network

SPAN Parent Advocacy Network empowers families as advocates and partners in improving education, health, and mental health outcomes for infants, toddlers, children, and youth.

Parent to Parent USA

Parent to Parent USA supports a national network of Parent to Parent programs to ensure access to quality emotional support for families of individuals with disabilities and/or special health care needs.


The National Genetics Education and Family Support Center (Family Center) provides tools and resources to support family engagement and genetic services.
